Fiberglass Pools—Superior pools in every way.
Faster, Smoother Pool Installation with Land Art.
THE PROBLEM
We have worked around countless pool companies over the course of the past 18 years. In almost every situation, the feedback from clients is the same – the pool company took way longer than they said they would, the job got dragged out and the homeowners were left with a mess all over their property for far too long.
The constant report we hear is that pool companies get started and then leave weeks or even months at a time with no activity on a client’s pool, leaving a disaster and frustrated clients in the wake. Most pool installers have bit off more than they can chew and try to install a higher volume of pools rather than focusing on maximizing the client’s experience with the process of their pool being built.
OUR SOLUTION
This is where we at Land Art Landscapes are dedicated to offering a different experience. With the installation of fiberglass pools, comes the most efficient pool building process possible. The steps are much different than that of gunite or vinyl pools. While there are important details along the way, here are the basic steps that you can expect:
Layout and determining elevations
Excavation for the pool
Prep work of gravel base
Delivery of fiberglass pool and craning pool into place
Filling pool with water and backfilling with gravel
Plumbing
Pouring concrete collar and installing coping
Grading and prep work for surrounding pool patio
Installation of pool patio
Pool equipment, filter etc.
Installation of surrounding landscaping
Enjoy and swim !
Let’s talk in terms of weeks—not months.
Again, there are many important factors and details we take care of along the way but these are the general guidelines to be followed. Our process of installing the actual pool generally takes a few weeks. This is a fraction of the time compared to other pool types that typically take anywhere from 3-8 months.
Every job is unique and situations are different. The overall scope of work may vary from client to client. Land Art Landscapes is a full Design/Build firm, so we can handle all your needs. There are many aspects and variables that come into play when considering putting a pool in your yard. The full scope will determine the length of the job, depending on the extent of work you are wanting. Please read the “budgeting” section for further info on this topic.
Benefits of Leisure Pools® Fiberglass Pools
vs other pool systems
-
Over the life of your pool, fiberglass pools offer exceptional value.
With most vinyl pools you will need to replace the liner every 7 years. It can also be common to have other issues and repairs with vinyl liners before that. With gunite pools, within 6-10 years, you will have to resurface the entire pool and many times repair tile. This can be very costly and messy.
Fiberglass pools are engineered to be a highly stable and extremely strong product that lasts many decades if cared for properly.
-
A Leisure Pool is built in factory-controlled conditions with superior raw materials. Extensive quality control systems and procedures are utilized to ensure the
highest quality pool shell. -
Fiberglass pools have very low maintenance compared to concrete or vinyl.
Due to its chemical structure, nothing can leach into the pool and impact the water balance. In turn, a lower chemical load is needed to keep the pool water in balance.

LIFETIME STRUCTURAL WARRANTY — Our Composite Armour™ technology and superior Vipoxy™ construction (our proprietary name for vinyl ester resin) provide the ultimate in strength and durability.

Budgeting for Your Pool Project
It has always been one of core values to be open and honest about budgeting needs for the type of custom outdoor living work that our clients are looking for. We have no interest in leading anyone along with false hope or throwing out low numbers just to bait a client with what sounds like a cheap price.
We have always aimed to price our work fairly for the level of what’s involved and the caliber of workmanship we bring to the table. We want to be thorough, have attention to detail, deliver high quality work through every step and execute your job with the excellence you deserve.
What does a pool cost?
Honestly, there’s not a blanket statement answer to toss out there to you. We could pretend there was a general answer and just say a number that sounds good. We’ve learned and found over the past 18 years that there is a better approach. It is best for the client to give a desired budget range. This acts as our launching pad for all the brainstorming, initial conversations, helps us give you guidance and allows us to determine how we can maximize the overall scope of work based on your budget.
To give you some frame of reference, generally speaking, our fiberglass pools start at $75k. They can also range from $100k-300k. How can this be? Because there are endless options and variables when looking at installing a pool. There are necessary and important things beyond just the pool shell itself. Here is a list of some things we have to think through and consider:
Access into your yard. Is this home undergoing construction or is this a backyard makeover? We need to assess our access for equipment, deliveries, staging materials, how we’ll maneuver around the site, how we’ll work our way out of the yard, what landscape repairs will be needed, etc.
Patio — Many things to consider in terms of size, layout, function, design and so on. We offer paver patios, standard or decorative concrete, travertine, or other natural stone options.
Landscaping — What landscaping will be needed or desired? We offer full landscape design and installation. Drainage, irrigation systems, outdoor lighting, specimen boulder placements, trees, plants, sod and much more.
Fencing — What type of fence might you be interested in to meet your county codes.
Excavation — Will we need to haul dirt off site or need to haul in additional dirt.
Elevations — Will there be a need for retaining walls, slopes to address, etc.
What style of pool you’re interested in and pricing it accordingly
Backfilling
Pool equipment, filter, automation, etc.
Coping options — Pavers or natural stone.
